Welcome to the Citywide Leadership Meeting site for February 27. This meeting is intended to build leadership capacity through professional learning and collaboration with peers and central support staff. Now that many of the middle school English teachers have attended Struggling Writer’s Academy, what should I be seeing in the classroom? This session will give an overview of the strategies learned during struggling writers academy, examples of what writing should look like during the writing units and literary units, and the 6-8 vertical plan to support the 8th grade writing test endgame.
